We are thrilled to share some exciting news! Barbell Logic has picked up the torch of offering the competition and community that many came to know and love through the US Strengthlifting Federation (USSF) under a new entity, the International Barbell Federation (IBF).

Join us in this new era focused on innovative and engaging online competitions. Our first online meet will take place from October 9th to 12th.

We’re excited to announce that Jordan Stanton, former USSF owner, will serve as Meet Director and Head Judge, ensuring the highest standards.

It was recently announced that the USSF will be closing for business. While that news remains true, we are excited to share that Barbell Logic will be carrying the torch of offering the competition and community that you have come to know and love through the USSF under a new entity, the International Barbell Federation (IBF).

Additional information and the announcement of new events will come early in 2024, but the most important things you need to know right now:

* All existing lifetime USSF memberships will be honored by the IBF

*Online meets will happen multiple times per year, both strengthlifting and powerlifting

*All future developments, including the announcement of new events, will be available on existing USSF social media channels as well as the existing USSF email contact list

I have an important announcement today. After long

I have an important announcement today. After long and careful consideration, I have decided that this will be the final year of USSF events and that the USSF will be closing for business.

What a wonderful journey it has been. I have been so blessed to meet thousands of amazing athletes around the world. I have had the privilege to work with outstanding meet directors, judges, coaches, spotter and loaders. I am so thankful for the amazing support from Barbell Logic, Dominion Strength, Micro Gainz, and many others through the years. The community around strength and strength sports has always inspired me and continues to do so.

The simple reason for closing is that the USSF is and always a passion project. At this point in time my attention must go to my growing six-year-old boy and the operation and expansion of my gym business and online coaching. A lifting federation deserves more attention than I am capable of providing for it to flourish and grow.

The leaderboards and online trophy cabinets will remain available for a few months’ time. All t-shirts will remain available in the stores during that time as well.

Follow me over @strength_union and @nextlevelbarbell and I promise to run a few online competitions from there for those that really enjoyed that format.
Its is sad to say goodbye but I am thankful that you have so many other options available in Powerlifting. Keep the press alive for me! Once again, myself and everyone who has worked on the USSF is grateful for all the support and to everyone who participated with us. Stay strong my friends and have a beautiful strength journey!
